Well I managed to do everything to recover azbox tutorial, I put a firm official, I changed the password from the window that appears when you start entering telnet deco, the problem is to put E2, makes all processes azup well but when you restart the decoder always turns in rescue mode, it is always with the ip on the screen, there's no way to pass from there ..................... .. I can not do the operation area network format ...............

any suggestions?

greetings and thanks

Normally, new releases of FW (E2) and sometimes AZUp have some instructions regarding how to go between various OSs, plus the necessary files. Which kernel for what and which procedure.

Follow them to the letter and good luck!

First of all, we do not know what you did and as I don't know what you did, which procedure you followed, which SW/FW/kernel you used - you first... ;)

Of course, you could do as I suggested and get a FW with the SW to go between various OSs...

Good luck!

P.S. I think you may have skipped a step or two, explained in a FW...

Tell us exactly what you did and what went wrong.

Send it to OpenShite for repair, if it's under warranty.

No, I do not.

If you are installing E2 - why the "format..."? Do it without it and see! Not needed, when doing E2!

You need just the AZUp (maybe older one with RTi E2 v. 1.70 first and then the latest, if you insist on the latest - which is not fully functional yet?) and the correct files.....

What did I skip, which step?

Do it again, from scratch. Yamon and all...

Do you have the original DOM or larger one?

Install the OFW as usual. You say this was successful:

I´M safe! my Azbox is back with his original bootloader and i can upgrade my Azbox to the
official firmware by following the normal process (patch.bin on the root of an USB pen)...........

FIRST PROBLEM...........in the
Upgrade screen select: 4. Format Application Area........Can not do this step........

I´m go to the 1-UPGRADE USB......PROCESS OK

THE AZBOX START WITH OFFICIAL FIRMWARE...........slow scrolling menu settings.....

If and when you are successful, try flashing your AZbug with PB E2 I described in my tutorial here or some such older image... For instance: http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=235790 and it is here: http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=227907

Do that using an older, JAZUp 2.3 or a newer version. See here: http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=196793 - use 2.5! Forget about the older AZUp crap for now... You have the OFW to E2 file. Use it. Follow the procedure as described in the included pdf file. You MUST succeed!!!

Do not try anything else, after that! See what happens...

Good luck!

"INSTALLING E2"
USB WHITH OFFICIAL TO E2, RESTART.....
AND STEP 4. FORMAT APLICATION AREA ..........PROCESS NOT OK
STEP 1. UPGRADE USB..........PROCESS OK
RESTART IN RESCUE MODE............PROCESS OK

Forget this and see if it is working with JAZUp 2.5, as described in the pdf file included with JAZUp!
