If you have a Viark Droi, the latest firmware is 1.34 and NOT 02.17 as you have been told a number of times.
Where are you getting firmware 02.17 from?

For some reason he doesn't seem to understand which box he actually owns or what firmware / software version means.

* Manual Firmware Update from USB *
We go to Menu and select SETTING
Then we select the Update option
Once inside we select the USB or SD card and press ok.
When we are inside the USB or SD, we select the Firmware that we have put in the USB and press OK with the remote control.
A Warning message will appear, click Yes
Once we have hit the Warning message, the deco will restart, and supposedly you should get something out of this.
It’s firmware (V 2.17 update 1.43 ) from ferret , I have it , ferret give me this bin-file
at moment I have firm v. 1.00 on my viark droi 4K combo box,

or I not need to put this? Ferret said with this sky Italy work again .
!! on my box I already have newest software version 1.34, that I told many times !!
and all channels working only 2-4 Chls. Of sky Germany sometimes freeze and sky Italy not work, rest working fine
last question : when I put this V 2.17 update 1.43 , I will not lost all my 8000 Channels on my box? not necessary to make workreset before I update Firm, right ?

You are saying that you have firmware 1,00 on your box and are also saying that you have firmware 1.34 on your box.
You can only have one, which one is it?

There is no 2.17 for Viark Droi, there is no such box as 4K Combo.
You can not have 1.00 if you are using version 1.34
You are mixing things up and confusing everyone, including yourself.

Yes dogman, right , box came with 1.00 then I puted online update to 1.34,
without usb stick . This 1.34 I puted software version some weeks ago
so sky Italy down! Right , we have to wait till server fix it automatically or
only wait for new online update

it will happen .....due to this ....
if your box not supporting Apollo V1.43 [ Forever IM 1.43 ] or no s/w update you will be loosing UK-IT-DE
you either must wait for new s/w to arrive or check if its already possible to update box s/w online via USB etc..

yes tnt sports and sky it down on viark drs2 with firmware 1.08 dated 20th july with pt1.41 server.waiting on new firmware to upgrade to pt1.43
