I was thinking about the qviart duo 4k.. android+E2

There are not better UI all are pretty similar the Android model my have the edge UI wise.

Its finding them some production was stopped on them due to chip shortages.

Does anyone know the operating system of the viark sat 4k? I wanted to try to change the color of the menus, extracting the firmware .bin

The only thing you can do(at least I do it with my old Geant) is that, if your receiver supports CHMAX, then you can change the GUI to another more modern theme.

I do not know. You can check your receiver in Settings

So the Geant range M4 Mini and OTT EVO are able to do Forever and the recent SLY updates
and also show BT *port.

Does anyone know or have experience of any of the following boxes and their ranges being able to do the same...?

- Tiger
- StarSat
- MediaStar

So it's clear, for now only the following boxes do Forever, SLY UK, DE, IT and BT Sport...

Viark (closed & android) - Best in the business
Geant (android) - Not sure, others say they work ok
GT Media (android) - Again not sure what others think

From GT Media only V8UHD open all 3 Sly packages, and it is not android. V7 Pro and V8X if I remeber, open only Sly DE.

DSTV maybe with VPN and VIP, Digiturk is closed, only some channels from D-Smart work.

i bought my viark in Switzerland
thanks of loop ,I receive with my 110er dish 60-90 channels when good weather
and would be cool watch DStv here in Switzerland

The Viark and GTmedia maybe running some linux code but they are not Android. Closed source too. The Geant has Android models but are considered very buggy from what ive read.
