Ahh, thanks for clarifying, my mistake.

I have also read that the some of the Geant android models are a bit buggy.

Maybe Android and satellite are just not as good a combination as closed source and satellite.

First, the VPN application works in your phone, be it the UAE, Morocco, or an African country, and then you share the internet from your mobile phone to the receiver

So not possible to watch DStv here in Swiss on Satellit on my viark like I can it with sky ?
my Internet coming at home from Swiss provider and I connect my viark with Ethernet , I have only NordVPN ( South Africa) on my PC , you know NordVPN?
i can watch DStv iptv with NordVPN , but I would like to watch also Satellit with viark.
but I think no way , or there is a way to do that ?

You need VIP package for dstv, your stb is not registered in the correct zone for that afaik.

You can have the vpn on your modem and let the stb connect to it, it needs to connect to a server in an arab country (other than Qatar and UAE: vip doesn't work there).
Aside from the vip part your 110 dish will not receive dstv because you're out of coverage.
Dstv is on the african beam and in the north part in only covers parts of north africa and spain and Portugal.
Those channels you are now receiving are from the European beam and you may need a 180cm or maybe 240cm to receive dstv.

Boxes that open sky need to have one of these chips:
Hisilicon 3798 MV 200
Hisilicon 3798 MV 100
Rockship RK3229
Ali-M2661
Ali-M2662
Ali-M 3526
Ali-M 3521
The first three chips are for android 4k boxes. The hisilicon ones are no longer produced. All the new boxes coming with android have the RK3229 chip.
The first two ali chips are for closed source linux 4k boxes eg: ali m2661: starsat 200 4k , starsat 220 4k.
Ali m2662: Gtmedia v8 uhd.
The difference between the 2661 and 2662 is only the extra C/T2 tuner on the m2662.
The last two chips are for low cost full hd h265 (not 4k) boxes. The difference between m3526 and m3521 is that the m3526 have an extra tuner dedicated to SDS: CS via satellite (doesn't need internet connection).
I suggest you buy a starsat 220 or 200 box it's more stable than android boxes and half their prices and has a fully capable s2x tuner.

And the DStv - channels from Europe beam ( f.ex. ss maximo) ,
are they not watchable on forever ?

why keep spamming ?
DStv - channels require VIP code you were already told this so in Europe this is not possible unless box connected to a certain VPN Country in order to register VIP Code .
this is the final time this question will be answered if you insist upon breaking forum rules then you leave no choice but to impose a bann on your account .

@kippysat the geant m4 mini runs beetee sp fine with 140 and sp 1 sly chs are very glitchy and freeze all the the time...its not really watchable to be honest

How do I delete a channel on a Viark Sat 4K? I believe channel editors are unreliable so presumably the only alternatve is to use the remote. I am impressed with my Viark but really miss the simplicity of 'dreamboxedit' that I can use on my E2 box.
The problem with using the remote is that I can't see a way to do delete channels..
