Is It true that Viark Sat 4k switches itself off after some hours and this can't be changed in settings menu?

I believe this is true in the latest firmware.

Yes, x number of hours without using remote control. No idea what x is.

Honestly Sly IT is not gonna happen this was simply commercial marketing and fake advertising it has worked 100% . BT Sport and UK SD is also not gonna happen if it was we already would see some signs of it by now
The limited UK HD Will be heavily tested tomorrow and Tuesday and it wont surprise me in the least if it fails
and everything goes dark again as before since there simply is no guarantees that it wont .

You wont be able to run VIP in Europe.

You can check this though by running your serial number under query in the online update web pages.

It happened to me with the Droi after upgrade to SP1 & leaving it on 192tv for 7? hours, a message appears on the screen about home use/sharing stb switched itself to standby. Switched it back on no problem, I missed the screen message & my wife only had a brief glance of it.
I think it's connected to what i read 2 weeks ago on another site that, "They" are worried about :- re-sharing, streaming, reselling that's why the display of your s/n on screen. Also that the latest sw could stop you reverting back to an earlier version. (but that needs confirmation)
