So my viark 4k has been shipped. So question for a newbie who's never used this box, used to zgemma dreamboz ect .
I activate the box online? And it'll give me X amount of channels from different sats.
To get sly uk and Germany I have to add the sp1 as a extra? Again I do it online and wait for the box to update?
Anything else I should no. 😊

You have to flash with PT1.14 firmware.
Then get SP1 if you want it, which will give you Sly Germany and UK. You do this online.

There is no guarantee it'll give x amount of channels. The service is valid for a certain period, channels can stop at any time.
S..y yes SP1.

I have a new question regarding a second hand Viark DROI that I have.

1. I have just updated my version to 1.32.
2. My PT states that is has "Expired". It expired in Sept 2022.
3. I plan to upgrade to SP1 or SP2 and reconnect.

My question is I can't see where my PT has the .IM 140 referred to in the earlier
part of this thread.

My understanding is that if I do not see .IM 140 then even if I upgrade using SP1/SP2
then I will not get Sly DE or Sly UK. Is that correct?

Go to any channels and click Info, you should see server type.

This just shows the channel information, satellite frequency etc, but nothing about the server type.
I think you need to active ser.ver first then you can see it.

Yesterday successfully on VIARK SAT 4K activated SP1, everything is ok, Sly de Funci. "IKS" Time is shortened for one year (to Okt.2024), and "IPTV" time extended 6 months, hmmmm, I don't know why, it is certainly him And I don't use so it doesn't matter to me.

Im info is not shown on Viarks, use your serial number on one of the upgrade pages and press query. If it says you can use sp1 or SP2 your good to go.
Morning,

Finally got SP2 set up on my VIark DROI and it is working. Sly UK is only clearing the HD channels at the moment,
but that is something good IMO.

Thank you to all who responded and helped in answering my questions and providing information.

DigitALB 16e is the same.

Used to be really good and now freezes every 30 seconds.

Disappointing.
Hi Azimuth,

Sadly 16E movie channels are still experiencing the freezing, but not on other satellites based
on the little testing I have done thus far.

What is strange is that 16E SS sport channels that show the football seem to be fine.

I watched Man Utd thrash Forest and Rashford and Martial didn't freeze in front of goal, so they are fine.

This issue is weird and appears to be localised to the 16E movie channels.

I'll continue to do more testing and checking with similar/same packages.
