well ive opned a RMA on the website. we,ll see what they say but i doubt they will replace it.

Anybody have a list of other boxes what will open de and uk. Doesnt have to be 4k. Just want something cheap i could use and order from the uk.

sold in UK Options are limited to say the least .
Viark brand is about only option unless box gets imported from far east countries .

GT Media is an option but no DE/UK S/W available as yet ,
Also Starsat2000 HD Extreme not 4K but again no DE/UK S/W available as yet ,
The TM5402 M4 is a total fail so i'd stay far away from that as it still not give you UK/DE option .

For what you really seek you would need to buy box outside Europe and add SP1 Code yourself
but you may also add VIP code but you'd need signal for 7W BeIN and DSTV 36E to justify that .
Getting a refund probably your best bet overall or Android Viark DRS 2 4K which will allow UK/DE and is
much more safe OS and as mentioned near impossible to break .

Working at times but pic freeze like mad and so very far from working well on my Viark Sat 4K
pic is like in slow motion and is not watchable whatsoever .

Haven’t had the Viark sat 4K box for long but just noticed the dish moving by itself. Checking my kids if they were switching channels while I was working but the receiver was on standby mode. Anybody any insight into this?

Since upgrading firmware to 1.14 on Viark, I've noticed motorised dish moving on it's own when the box is on standby
Is there any setting that can stop this happening

I noticed this on my Viark LIL. I think it was Channel List Auto Update in CHMax Setting.

Now on my Sat 4K it was set to System, changed to Off now - will see if it resolves the issues. Thx

Just to be Blunt CH Max is simply Channel logos nothing much more
i do not enable it and box works a ton faster and with far less lag and issues
i think the Viark Sat 4K is just too limited on Hardware for such nonsense as CH Max options .

it only has few GB Ram its not like a PC with 16+ GB DDR5 Ram and an SSD : )

It updates all channels on all the sats positions you have . With Channel List Auto Update selected it doing what you have it setup to do update channels across the arc. Hence, the dish moving.
