Tried to do the recovery again but not having it. I guess im going to need a rs232 cable :-/

Not getting anything out of it now!
Exactly what firmware are you using to do the recovery?

Did notice that Eurosport 4K was clearing for a few minutes this morning so they must be testing its offline now though.

That's what I've been saying but no body backing me up here lol

They are testing 4k channels these past few days

Last night during Royal Rumble PPV you could hear sound on BT Sports Box Office (if you don't have 4k receiver) and it was colored

This is a picture of a friend of mine

If a recovery is possible, you need to use an original firmware, not a PT firmware which gives you the forever service.
I don't know if it's any good to you now, but here is the latest original firmware.

This is from another forum.......

1. Format a USB to FAT32.
2. Rename the software to "update.bin" and copy to the USB.
3. With the Viark disconnected from the light, insert the USB into the VIARK receiver.
4. Turn on the Viark and press (hold) the POWER button on the front of the receiver.
5. Stop pressing the POWER button, once the letters "-ES-" appear on the display, since the recovery will begin.

Good luck.

Cheers. I’ll order a cable as well.

Might be a silly question, but is the fuse ok? Is there an internal fuse? Is the box still under guarantee?
