Several users have been asking contacts of receiver manufacturers repeatedly for blind scan range filtering to be implemented in these receivers.
This has been asked for at least a year, probably longer.

To date, nothing has been done about it. My personal guess is that it will not be implemented.

The solution I use is as follow:

1. Blind scan with either a TBS card, E2 receiver or older satellite receiver that has blind scan range filtering.
2. Check the results for any feeds/channels you want from the blind scan.
3. Manually scan the required individual transponders in the Forever Server receiver that does not have blind scan range filtering.

It is a bit of a long way round but at least you do not have the Forever Server receiver full of unwanted frequencies from a close neighbouring satellite.
Thats a since times known ALI chip/demod problem....FS have nothing to do with that...
BTW....it looks like STM is going out from Demod production...their STID135 is now NRND

Bought mine last September from a well known spanish dealer and it was all OK. Shipped the next day, delivered in two more days.

I think I got mine from Spain for £90, including postage, but that was before the Viark Sat 4K really became popular. I got my Droi 4K later at around £110.
Prior to these, I got a Viark Sat (not 4K) for around £50.

When you made the purchase did they request any personal information more than just name and home/delivery
address?
