So would you advise that I do not use the OTA way for any future updates and always stick to USB?

Personal choice of mine to flash via usb. Manily becuase i factory reset before flashing.

I suspect that some autobiss issue is back in 1.18 unfortunately.
Not able to autodetect Davis Cup feed key at 7 East.
I was forced to insert the key manually, found it in the Tennis section.
Anyone else noted such problem? Thanks.

Auto Biss does NOT find every key. This is normal.

Autoroll today is not good. There is a general problem that did not found me the keys of cafencoder1/2/3 Matches 14:00 (No crybt8for this )

No one has posted keys on the forum since I posted Caf encoder4

Well, the only problem I found with my Viark Sat 4K was in version 1.16.
Older and newer versions was always OK, and found all keys I tested.
Today I was not able to find tennis key (but it was posted in Tennis section so I inserted it manually in my box).
This is the first time that I have problem with 1.18 version.
Hoping it is a momentary one.

Is it not easier to use the USB port on the front which is located under the pull down flap on the right hand side of the receiver.

You can but why as smithysmudger says usb on the front is the logical choice.

You need to install the latest software to get these back.

Very strange behaviour with tennis feed.
Today my Viark Sat 4K find the key, no problem, but as soon as I attempt to change the audio track the key is immediately lost.
So the box resumes to search and find the key again.
Anyone has this strange issue? Thanks.

The same situation occurs changing TV channel.
If I change channel and return back to this feed, the box must search the key again.
Never seen such behaviour before.

I have 1.18 installed in my box.

I noted this detail: although the channel was tuned and the biss key found, entering into the key menu the actual frequency/SR/key are not listed.
So it would not be possible to add manually the key if the box does not find it.
The last key in the list selects the previous frequency tuned by the box, not the actual one that's not added to the list.
Maybe this could be the reason because the key is lost changing TV channel?
