Yeah M8 had that off. The box itself could work 15 / 20 minutes and then just goes off for no reason. Only way to turn it on is to switch box off and on.
Nope haven't tried another power supply, I will look into that. Never crossed my mind as the box was on.Have you tried another power supply ?
Could be 10 minutes, could be longer. It's quite random. Was doing a scan of 19e after factory reset and it turned off.How long before it powers down?
Good advice, I read somewhere it has solved similar issues reported elsewhere, cant remember where now prob spanish forum.Have you tried another power supply ?
I've had the box for a few months, bought from German seller. Did try another PSU but also switched off. The timing switching off can fluctuate. The box itself in the led lights appears on and channel number is listed. But pressing the buttons on the box does nothing. Like it's frozen.I think it's power related but not the psu. I've had a 4k with similar issues and I traced the problem to a power regulator chip on the maiboard. Amongst other functions this chip reduces 12v down to 5.2v then elsewhere the 5.2v gets reduced down to 3.3v. The voltage at the usb's was wildly fluctuating and the 4k would try to boot when above 3 3v. BTW I was unable to find a replacement chip so if possible send the 4k back.

That's the other thing need a proper supply, think I just found something that fitted from an old router. It may not have the correct amps. When did you try the other PSU and what was it?
The old 3amp Dreambox PSU's work fine if you have one kicking around. That's the other thing need a proper supply, think I just found something that fitted from an old router. It may not have the correct amps.
Can you recommend a power supply that should be used for the box.
I do have a big bag of wires that she's been nagging me to get rid of. If I don't having something suitable , I'll buy a power supply just to rule it out

Dont worry if the amps exceed the original psu thats fine it will only take what it need and it help with motor movement

That's strange, 2 say poor image on 1.34 and one says excellent image on 1.34 SW.Inage quality on 1.34 was excellent for me. I have gone back to 1.32 to get auto biss working again.
Any luck yet?I was an ITgate boy, I'll see what I have lying about. Thanks again for everyone's suggestions really helpful.

No mate. Haven't got a replacement charged. Just ordered one. What's worse is it's completely random. Switched on the TV at 5, took kids to football at 6 and expected the box to have gone off but to my surprise it was still on.Any luck yet?
