Won't change anything this year for us unless of course they completely go pop and nobody buys them.

Its have similar with English comms thats tricky, shame about Supersport.

I doubt they will lose epl if they get taken over as long as they can keep the payments up, otherwise Tring will get them.

Tried that thanks, but it made no difference. Occasionally the picture appears randomly as normal for a second, then disappears again (as I've said, it's not a dodgy lead). No problem direct to my main TV of course. I've disabled HDMI CEC (set on by default), but that's not resolved the problem either.
[Oops, just realised I should've tested the HDMI splitter with the original firmware installed, to ascertain if it's a problem with the new firmware, or there's a hardware problem with the receiver itself. I'll try that next.]

Also try the previous working firmware to see if it still works?

I have now, sadly it's the same on any firmware, so it's clearly a HW fault on the receiver itself. Its appearance after installing the latest firmware was just coincidental. I guess I'll have to open it up to see if anything is obviously awry.

Agree. No hardware fault in your receiver in my opinion.
The fact that the same splitter works well with other devices does not mean nothing.
Unfortunately these are very cheap HDMI splitter, and I experienced exactly the same situation with one of that some years ago.
So, buy a good, not so cheap 4K one and you will solve your problem.

Dont know how significant this is but recently have noticied the Nrk channels {Allente) on 0.8w 11747v 25000 have been yellow. They are not on all the time sometimes all of them then
just a few and a lot of the time none. Its worth scanning the transponder and checking now and then. Only posted this now as originally just thought it was a one_off but has been fine for a few times now.
Am sure other people have observed this. In the scheme of things not very exciting but could be going forwards with more to come.
