Dummie in DM800 se

HI Guys,



I just bought a DM 800 se hd. It is my fisrt step in DM's world. the box has been flashed with newenigma 2.2.3. I am confused i dont know what is the next step. Could you please give a list of steps to follow. for example
1. flash box with newenigma/best image?
2. install ,,,,,,
3. use telnet and add mgcam
4.
5.
After your guide, i will read and find out how to do the different steps

is it clone sim2.1 or original?
& what is version is it v1 or v2

If you press the blue button twice youll see newnigma services you will be able to download mgcamd from there providing your connected to a router.

If you want to use another image then i recommend OpenATV but as above we need to know the sim type of your box.

Flash the above first.

Then you are going to need to learn how to ftp into your box.

Box has been successfull flashed with openATV image, and I downloaded filezilla, watched some video on youtube, I am now ready for next step. Do i am a good student?

Yes you are install this cam feed

ftp the unrared file to tmp folder and install it from the blue button sofware manager.

Installation done using blue button manager. I tried to do it by telnet( it was not successful - anyway will learn more about it.- I did linux/Unix in University). Thanks again you are an angel

I am lost. softcames have been installed. through plugins - download plugins - softcames. Folder is empty.

I now try to start, stop and select cams through blue button - softcam. unfortunately none of the download softcam are visible.

Does it report the downloads are in-progress and completed ?

You need to use the <> buttons on the remote to select the softcam before starting it.

I did but none of the softcams are working. I went to ccaminfo. and saw following infos:
available share: 0
No server
active clients:0 etc....

I have no infos for both Mgcam

Dies the info web pages show the server names your trying to connec to ?
Could be something in your network blocking ports !

Firewall or router maybe.

I have following error on router. I am trying to fix it:

FIREWALL icmp check (1 of 1): Protocol: ICMP Src ip: 186.216.206.20 Dst ip: 89.243.3.222 Type: Destination Unreachable Code: Port Unreacheable

My internet Provider is fixing the issue. I will like to know if channels of favorite are clear? which softcam open which bouquet? At the moment i am able to watch fta channels

Do you know the ports number needed to be open to allow connection between servers and box. Internet provider need them. Thanks

why dont u just DISABLE your router firewall totally & disable any antivirus security firewall too that all can coz a network connection blockage problem
