...but jakitaki specifically wrote rename it to "ali_update.bin".

Do you think that's maybe why the usb stick method did not work?
This is how viark and TM work
Ab box may be different

When you rename the file, are you typing update. bin or are you typing update?
It should just be update because the file is already seen as a .bin file.

It can take several attempts to get it to work.

Remove power plug from box, insert USB in front USB port then with finger on power on button on box, replace power cord and do not remove finger from power on button until you see that it has seen the USB and the process will begin.

Having said that
TM and viark recovery method

We have to have a USB properly formatted in FAT32, then we put the FW on that we need

1. Format a USB to FAT32.
2. Rename the software to "update.bin" and copy to the USB. (in my case I have put UPDATE.BIN in uppercase).
3. With the stb completely disconnected from the power supply, we insert the front USB.
4. Connect the power supply and press (hold down) the POWER button on the front of the receiver.
5. The letters USB will appear and without stopping pressing the POWER button, we wait until the letters "-ES-" appear (it takes a while) on the display, at that moment we release it and the recovery will begin, we must wait for it to do all the sequence and leave it until the deco restarts
Note: if the recovery fails, try several more times, as it sometimes fails.

Just got my 752HD. I like it, it seems stable and audio/video quality is good.
The GUI seems not so different than my Viark Sat 4K, maybe the same chipset?
However, I need an advice please. Just updated the firmware to latest patched one (December 2023). How can I reach the emu menu?
I read F1 + 000 when the curson is pointing Extra menu, but on my remote there are no F1 keys! So, which key? Could you please explain?
Also, how can I delete all channels in a satellite without deleting the same satellite and its transponers? Thank you in advance.

Hello @Francescone the F1 key is at the top of the remote beside the red colour STANDBY key.

However @JAKITAKI, I have also uploaded the patch called "752HD COMBO_16M_V1.18.25404_27-12-2023.bin" and
it does not list the BISS, PowerVU, etc keys menu anywhere, nor does it have any CCcam menus.

The old patch from 2021 called "752HD_V1.14.23058_12-08-2021.bin" has all of these menus in Xtras, but it is almost
three years old.

So, may I ask what is the most up to date patch software that will have a keys menus and CCcam menus please?

Thanks.

You enter Menu-Xtras and use the remote control 0000
after that a hidden menu should appear with options for cccam client keys and settings

Thanks @JAKITAKI , that worked. It brought up the new menus EMU and IDENT.

So where is the Cccam menu now or is there also a special code to see that option?

Found! It is the Mute key, absolutely did not thought to that.
To view the hidden menu you must go into the Xtras menu (not just pointing, enter in it), then F1 0000 and two more items are added: EMU and Ident.
In EMU you can add keys, choosing the desired system with left/right arrow keys.
However, no cccam, at least I did not found yet. I have the newer 752HD version without loop connectors.

Another issue here: as soon as I enter in Settings > System menu, the box restarts immediately, so I'm not able to change any setting.
The same in System > OSD menu. What can be happened? Maybe any sort of protection?
I did not tested the original firmware version prior to install the latest patch.
I solved the hidden menu issue, now I must solve this before beginning to use extensively my new toy.
Also, could you please explain better where is the cccam menu? I would like to add my line. Thanks again.

I suspect that something is lacking in the documentation of this patch.
I have this list:

F1 + 000 = Activate and Deactivate Patch
F1 + 111 = Sharing Menu
F1 + 147 = Coding Menu
F1 + 222 = ECM Show
F1 + 321 = Test List Menu
F1 + 333 = Key Edit
F1 + 444 = Input Box Key
F1 + 456 = Activate or Deactivate Wifi
F1 + 555 = IP Settings
F1 + 666 = Server Settings
F1 + 777 = Reboot
F1 + 789 = Time Shift on/off
F1 + 999 = Motor Setting
F1 + 0852 = Factory Default

Please note that NONE of these commands actually work in my receiver.
The only one that I'm able to use is the F1 + 000 in the Extras menu but it is 0000 (4 digits).
Also, during the normal viewing, pressing F1 + 0 activates a single item menu called Shortcut Setting, in which I have these five items:
Colour Setting, Parental Control, Youtube, IPTV, Weather.
All these items can be set on YES or NO, default is NO for all.
So @JAKITAKI, could you please clarify how this patch work?
Also, I really do not understand why my receiver reboots immediately as soon as I attempt to enter in the System menu or in the OSD menu.... is there any protection that must be disabled at first?
Thank you.

PS: @kippysat, have you this reboot issue in your box or not?

Solved!! A full reset was needed.
After uploading the patch, I did not reset the box, but now I understand that it is absolutely needed. If not, many malfunctioning occur.
Now my box does not reboot anymore, and in the Extra menu new items appeared.
After the EMU item, I have Client, Server, Password.
Obviously in Client menu all line datas can be added.
Not tried server yet, neither additional F1 commands. It is too late now, I continue to play tomorrow. Thanks.

Hello @Francescone ,

Great work and it has helped me too. So much so, that I have now done the reset and can see the Client, Server etc
sub-menus in the Xtras Menu. So now I have added my own lines and saved it. However, now it gets tricky.

Please @JAKITAKI can you tell us or guide us on how to get the details put in client to work?

My Client Menu looks like this...

IP/URL ............... etc.etc.etc
TCP Port ................ 12345
UserName ............... any_old_bod
Password ............... any_old_bod
ServerType ............... cccam
Confirm ................ OK

Connected Servers: 0

---------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------

My Server Menu looks like this...

HomeShare

ServerType ................ cccam
TCP Port ................. 12345
UserName ................. any_old_bod
Password .................. any_old_bod
Auto Start ................. YES
Stop

Address: 123.123.1.123
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, the values are clearly not real, I have changed them for obvious reasons, but
my problem is that I don't how to get the server connected.

What do we need to do so that "Connected Servers" changes to 1?

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi @kippysat, glad that you solved the first problem, too.
Not checked the lines option yet, today I created my own channel list and it was a long process.
Tomorrow I hope to test this. But, first of all, are you sure that all Network Settings are OK in your box?
All my receivers having lines in them are under a strong VPN set in my router, and I never had problem.
@kippysat, I noted two little issues regarding the remote control. After the patch installation, the audio key seems having a totally different function: pressing the audio key the satellite list appears, and the audio features are moved to the Blue key. Is it the same for you?
Also, where is located the Recall key? I mean, the key to recall the previously viewed channel? Thanks.

Hi @Francescone ,

My audio key is working correctly and is able to change language if the extra options are available on a specific broadcast.

I am also connected to the net as well. My issue is how to get the cccam server connected and running.

@kippysat, unfortunately my line is expired, so I'm not able to test the client feature.
I'm testing autobiss but it does not seem to work. Maybe a valid line is needed?
Also, I confirm my previous report regarding the audio feature. In the main viewing screen, pressing the audio key the satellite list appears. To change the audio language I must press the Blue key, and a specific menu appears letting me select the desired audio. I don't know why these two keys are swapped.
Now I try to add biss keys manually.

Manual biss entries perfetly work. It is easy.
But I hoped that autobiss was available in this box. Maybe I'm wrong something?
Please @JAKITAKI, could you explain the autobiss feature, if any? Thanks.
