It doesn't mean that you are VIP
That message means your device is compatible with VIP and can be added to it
Same msg appears on T13 EXTREME
But when was tryed to purchase VIP , the seller , after was given to him S/N of box , claimed that this (T13 EXTREME) box is not compatible to have VIP .

My question is: why msg appears while box is not compatible to have VIP?

Does this mean an imported Starsat receiver Will not work with Sky UK because It doesn't come from Europe?

Has anyone outside of the VIP permitted zone tried to install a VPN directly onto a MENA sourced Android receiver such as one of the Geant models?
The Geant receivers are North African based and might be expected to be on the permitted list as eligible for the VIP bein's?

Most of the VPN's have an android version for mobiles and tablets, it might load directly onto an Android receiver to mask a non MENA location and allow the VIP bein's package to be installed?

Not tried it myself but have read it does not work with a VPN selected.

Phoned with a friend ....he got last week a vuga combo device and he patched it to viark...
he have done also update with Sp1..
But he have same problem as me,sly De ok but no UK .Looks like a viark (receiver) fw and not a server problem.

The point is: how should I buy code to subscribe for myself on the site you wrote , while nobody will sell it to me after I put S/N of my box when order a VIP code???
EVERY seller told me that my device isn't compatible to have VIP acces.
NO ONE want to sell me code. EVERY seller gave me refund and says : sorry your device doesn't support VIP

look for a seller that doesnt ask for your sn before buying
I bought a 1 month code before from a guy and he just gave me the code and i went to the charge website and added it to my SN by myself

Your serial doesn't support VIP package, independently by your box. That's the point.
So resellers refound you because they CAN'T update the vip pass on your box.
It depends by location where you use the box.
If I can remind well you bought your box from Europe and you use it in Europe.
Vip reference is for Middle East/African users, not for you, my friend

If your device’s share name include .IM and use super Card_NO SP1 or SP2,you will have Sky-DE and Sky-UK
how do i look to see if my box is .IM its a drs 2 brought from europe im in the uk just assumed it would take the sp1/sp2 update

As i have understand Viarks don t show this "IM" ,all is hidden...thats why genuine code reseller asks for the device name.

I didn't know if your box support the vip package, it depends by last software above all and if support is active or not (if available you have to read info details that come with firmware).
But this is not the point.
Even if supported the location where you use the box stop you by buying the pass.

I've lost a bit of time last month and I couldn't find any solution
None of my boxes was fit to vip package.

Among my boxes I have a Geant 750 Evo that supports Vip package, but nor it was good.
My box came from Algeria.

Studing on boxes I realize there is a part in serial number that identify the kind of box and I trie to see if there were any differences with other boxes

This as appear my box in charging system viewing, (I think very similar to yours)



While testing another Geant 750, by a random search changing some numbers



Look to the differences.
The second one is located outside Europe and it can be updated with vip card.

I tried for several days connecting the box to a vpn (a south african ip, because my VPN provider hasn't other African/middle East choice), with no luck

Box continues to be identified in Europe and upgradable only with SP1,SP2.

In my opinion, if you keep your box connected to a vpn with an African/middle east IP and you upgrade as example 1 year more of standard forever pro (not SP1), box should be reset and working with vip package
(but surely you'll lose Sky-DE)
