Which reciever?

I am looking for linux a hi-def reciever but i want to record programmes and series links, 7 day forecast like S-Y+ any idea or suggestions for which reciever is best for these catogries. I want to record and watch but not on the same transponder!

Vu+ Duo is by far and away the best receiver ive ever used. Twin tuner so will record while watching another channel etc, full epg with cross epg plugin, can set reminders series link (with auto timer plugin), excellent picture quality, great user interface, loads of extras like you tube, email etc.

You cant go wrong!!

Yeah the Auto timer plugin is native to the PLI image which runs well on the VU-Duo and can emulate the series link feature on Sky boxes. Also available as a plugin although im not sure it works with all images. It basically searches your epg for the series name every hour and sets timers accordingly.

Obviously the DM 800/8000/500 receivers running the PLI image also have the auto timer plugin but best bang for your money goes to the VU Duo.
