Hi Guys
I was trying the latest VTI image in Meoboot and so far I found that it is an excellent work by the VTI team:thum:.
I just want to clear some doubt about the various plugins pre-installed in the image such as:

- Add stream URL
- CDInfo
- DLNA Server
- DLNA/uPnP Browser
- MediaScanner
- Modem Manager
- OpenWebif
- Opera Web Browser
- PicturePlayer
- SteamTVPlayer
- UI 3D Setup
- UI Position setup
- Wireless Access Point
- ZappingModeSelection.

Are these plugins really required or should I delete these plugins in-order to free memory. Because my memory is always 98% used:eek:. VU+duo with BH 2.0.3 image in flash.

Tks for your suggestions/help.

Rgds

iv used the vti images for a long time and always seems great, if you go vti panel then vti system info then into about current system.

you should get a break down on what your using.

my cpu is 4% mem 0.7% ram free 2.75mb but I haven't got hd glass 16 installed yet, the free mem option sorts that out or you could try the free mem plugin.

on using meoboot you should have more flash then a normal image as its a virtual image?
I don't understand why you are getting it using that much.. or are you talking about ram memory?

Thinking about this I think hes talking about ram memory, Linux is like that it loves using memory.

to increase ram I would enable swap that will free up sum ram also if the image has a system monitor built in I would check and see what processes are running and what's using up all the ram...

Deleting plugins will not free up RAM
it would only free up flash memory but if you are using a image that's on meoboot your not using your flash its using the usb/hdd device as a Virtual flash instead..

i would enable swap on a separate device than what is being used as your meoboot device as not doing so could slow you down.....
