Viark Forever boxes

If your on the Sat not the sat 4k you need this firmware

My mistake, I initially tried that version with same result.

I am about to install an original s/w using the recovery procedure and then try that version again.
I have not used the box for quite some time, as I have the Sat 4K and the Droid 4K.

I was just curious if auto biss works on the Viark Sat, although I will probably have to subscribe for that pleasure.

Its now on v2.16 but of course won't auto update biss unless I have a sub. I am a bit reluctant to buy a sub only to find that auto biss doesn't work. I don't need another SP1 sub.

Well you can either believe me or leave it as it is?
As you don't need another SP1 code, just choose to disbelieve me and all is good, not sure why you would want SP1 on various stb unless in different rooms locations etc.

to switch from a satellite (hotbird to astra with usals) how do you do it? I scanned hot bird. in the satellite configurations I have the various satellites from east to west, but I don't know how to find them and have them ready like a dreambox

Depends on your remote type, if your remote has a button labeled SAT press it if not press F1.

Newer remotes don't have SAT button so you press OK button first then F1 for satellite list.

Made a deep test, and... yes, some autobiss issues was noted here too.
Maybe I was lucky with all feeds I got recently, but performing some more deep searh here and there on various satellites.... well, many keys was not found, like the third news channel at 7 East.
So, I just said that I do not like going back to an older firmware, but sometimes it is needed.
I believe that I can't install V1.12 over 1.16. Could anyone address me step by step how to downgrade? Thanks.
