To All,

As an FYI and anyone thinking of doing it. The SP1, SP2 or VIP does not work with a TM 5402 M4.
Just tried it as a test and it didn't work. Hope that prevents others from trying it and wasting time
and money.

Even though the charging site stated that it was enabled for SP1, SP2 and VIP when done,
all you get is an extension or new sub to your dates/connection. It does not clear Sly DE or UK.

Never thought it would, it would of needed new patch first.

Also, I saw that some new channels were added on 16°E ( from T0tal TV) and 19.2°E (french ch) in last week.

Yes glad i sold my M4 quite a while back ,
no point waiting and being even further frustrated with TMate updates that are always meaningless .
The M4 Was a big fail @manic01 took it further than ever expected but that company [ TechnoMate ] has been finished for quite some time IMHO , There is other boxes much more efficient out there and capable of SP1 AND UHD etc..

The V8UHD at this moment has no UK though just DE.

The Viark Sat and Sat 4k although more expensive gets you the lot.

Viark it's not a solution for me. Instead of UK, I preffer to have a DVB-C tuner for my cable provider, so I can put in favorite list channels from cable provider and what it's missing, adding from sat, toghether in one list.

The Viark Droi has a cable tuner as does the Viark Combo.

Since adding SP2 to my viark DRS2 it no longer auto updates the keys so no bookies channels on 5E working how do i add them myself and where can they be found bit of a nightmare the auto update being lost.

Another strange issue with the SP1 and SP2.

Ever since I added the SP1 and SP2 feature, my Viark DROI no longer "Records".

It's frustrating as it was always useful if we had to pop out and couldn't watch something live.

Anyone else have this issue or even better know of it and how to fix it?

I do not see how SP1, SP2 are related to recording or to whatever feature the receiver has
