USB T Tuner

Hi Everybody and Merry Christmas.
For some time now I am trying to install a usb-t tuner on my DM800 (original)
box, but always I get the following: Usb drivers not installed. The drivers were installed with tmp / and manual inst. I tried several files for my stick (Haupauge Nova stick) but always the same result. In flash I have DE 1.3.3 and the same in multiboot. Checking the files are present in DM files.

Press the blue button twice mate scroll to USB tuner panel and select the driver you need.

No expert on usb tuner so if you have tried that forgive me.

Thank you for your answer. When you do that it will bring you to the "Dream Elite External usb panel" where it will say "Usb tuner drivers not install" and it will tell you to "select driver". when you do so it will try to connect to DE server which is closed and then it will tell you "connection failed". In the mean time I already set up the appropriate files via tmp/manual but it cannot read the files. Something has to be done to read the files. This situation aroused since the DE old server is down.

If you use an image with the new kernel (2.6.18-7.4) . I mean the last image. You can use lataamo plugin , designed for newnigma2 but it work with all image with new kernel to install your DVB-T tuner based on DIB0700 or AF9015.

I've tested it on many image after the release of SSL76D and it work very fine and better than images with the old kernel (2.6.18-6.1)

I don't have anymore 800 but it worked fine with Aver Media TV USB : in DE 1.3.3 goto extra settings Kernel Modules Manager and enable Smargo & Other USB devices (I'm trying to remember....)
Make a dreambox restart and you will find a list of available usb stick pen manufactury. Make also a search here... we talked about it in the past.

Hi
I tried to install my af9015 usb driver following the tuto above without success.
I tried on PeterPan,GP3 and other images without never got the driver running.
Can somebody tell me where to find this driver "dm800-dvbt-af9015.tgz" for the new kernel.

To answer myself: it does work :) with the tuner drivers from the clone site.

Hi
I installed Sif-Team V175 and the USBTuner is working as franz62 said plug&play.
Unfortunately this image doesn't include the addon server for Emu.
I installed the extra.url the same as for Dreamelite 1.o in /etc ans I don't found it.
Rebooted the box it a same. I don't know how to access to this addon.
Please help.

The most complete image at the moment in reference with Tunners Usb is the New DreamElite 1.0HD. Install it on flash plug your tunner and with the blue button>you can install the extra devices Tunner usb. Very easy and works fine.

Anyone help with my problem with USB DVB T stick Winfast DTV dongle gold ? Some file for driver , gz or ipk instalation ? For dm800 Kernel not function , THX a lot .;)
