TV8 Turkey 42 East?

Hi there,

I understand looking at the fixtures guide on LJ that this station is showing serie A I wonder does it still encrypt during matches or does it stay free to air? I have seen the BISS key thread but so far no more info regarding the station so any update would be appreciated guys.

Hopefully someone will check for us tonight at 19:45 (BST) Inter Milan V Sampdoria, if channel is FTA or Biss Key is used [I will be out m8 - otherwise I would check, its on the Europe Beam thou so you should be able to receive Turksat 2A (42°E) - 11870.00 V S/R 8888 FEC 3/4 SID: 0001 VPID: 0134 (HEX)]

Yesterday i've watched "Inter Milan Vs. Sampdoria" on that channel and it was FTA, tonight it will be "AC Milan Vs. Napoli" but some one have an idea if Serie A is back on "TV 8" or is just occasional?

Serie A will be on TV 8 for 2010-2011 season and also will be FTA.

There was absolutely no point in checking at 13:59 BST, we know TV8 is FTA most of the time like TRT channels are.

If TV8 encrypts it will only be for certain copyrighted events (much the same as TRT1, 2, 3 do for some football matches but not all!).

TV8 Turkey used to Encrypt years ago during EPL matches, but is FTA now during Napoli V AC Milan.
