[Tutorial] Install oscam on OpenATV

This tutorial belongs to Sniffer
I just made some changes.
Thanks for letting me use you tutorial Sniffer!

I had to delete some images, the forum is limited to 12

Download [softcam-feed-wetek_1.0_all.ipk] here and copy it on a usb stick.


Put the usb stick in the wetek

Power on Wetek

Click on Menu button of Wetek RCU (see image above)

In the main menu go to Plugins - Media Scanner - Select USB PEN

Now Install Extensions

Select the Extensions tou want to isntall

Then click on green button, or button 2 on the wetek rcu, or click on 2 on your keyboard

Now go back to main menu and click on blue, or on button 4 for wetek rcu, or 4 on your keyboard > [Software Manager] > [Download Plugins]

Click on [softcams] > [oscam]

Select [yes] and wait until it's finished

select oscam with the arrow button of Wetek RCU

Click on green button, or button 2 on the wetek rcu, or click on 2 on your keyboard

Open browser and type:

box ip number:16001

After you have installed the .ipk does not show in the softcam menu to proceed to the installation of oscam

Do a manual install of oscam lads thats what i did the softcam feed no longer works.

Ive attached it for you.

This box is really progressing now if the zap time on enigma 2 could be improved along with a miltiboot tool for the sd card the Wetek Play would be a real contender in the sat market.

1- Instalar o Softcam Wetek .

2- Menu/ Definições/ Gestor de Software/ Opções Avancadas/ Gestor de Pacotes/ enigma2-plugin-extensions-softcam-oscam
e instalar, depois voltar em Info Painel/ SoftcamPanel/ Select Cam 1 e ativar!
3- ip:Wetek:16001 ou :8888

thank u so much for reply.so I understand that I should configure the oscam as client onthe webbrowser by wring the ip address i n chrome for example and not like we used to with dreambox in which we use dcc to transfer the newcamdlist to var then to keys and finally activate the magcam??AM I correct?everything shoul done in the webbrowser.wetek should connected to the web?

connected to openweif???????????????so what ?wrote the ip ,opened openwebif?how does that help in configuring the oscam?

and 127.0.0.1 is you ip adress?

did you checked on your router?

thank you mate for reply .I am really confused about the ip address:some
say it is 8888 ,others say it is 16002,and 9981.also others told me it depends wether you are using enigma2 or wetek theatre or openelec?for this reason at a moment I thought of buying amilo a3 ,because it easier ???????????please comment great mates

it depends of the image you are using

On android and openelec it's 8888
on openatv it depends of the feed
some are 8888 or 16001

If you have this in your Oscam config it will be your ip, eg 10.0.0.3:16001

in the menue ,oscaminfo,I found the ip 127.0.0.1,port80.Iwrote them on pc browser did not open anything.but i wrote 10.0.0.8:80,openwebif openedbut the page for oscam configuration does not appear even when I clicked on softamcam icon?
