you can try , i already change from tuner k to tuner m no problem. you can buy sim2.01 at aliexpress

Just to confirm mate yes the mtuner will work well on your main board.

just bought rev m tuner i got noting but problems the sat icon keeps flashing so no picture whent into settup service searching posiioner setup though i have a good signal it says not locked??? looks like i,ll be sending m tuner back ,put old tuner back in all ok

Hi, I don,t know what moboard but I had a sim 1 clone with rev J
tuner modded with capacitor fix,and replaced it with an M tuner(2nd REV.) The result was awesome,I could never get syfy,discovery,and a few more channels here in the Canaries now totally glitch free and more channels.
Also the sim1 can be fully upgraded tp Ferrari.
Make sure you ask your supplier for the latest M tuner.

I don,t really Know it has never been an issue,I used the DE133D prz phoenix image for ages and never felt inclined to change.I finally tried the Ferrari upgrade image sucessfully ,then tried a few later images but have gone back to the Phoenix.I still think this is the best I have tried and rock solid.I know that this image has been updated by Rami in the last week with new drivers so I will change to sim2.01 bl82 and use that if necessary.
Finally, I want to thank you personally for all the help your posts give to us.You are so patient with the newbies .

Would be good info its reported in another thread the mtuner does not work on older boards with samsung memory. Im sure it did but i tested i few things and may of got myself confused with all the data
