tuner problem

my freind got problem as in had power cut today
box came back on with nothing clearing even fta
i messed about a bit as its a motor system ended up sticking a 500s
in its place and making sure im on 28.2 east at 94% snr all good.

then i reflashed my 800 but i get nothing
had 91 snr after reflash but nothing clears even fta

im just wondering if it could be tuner?
he has taken it out and reseated it but its stll the same .
any ideas guys?
mind no fta channels either aswell as premium

Im not sure it is the tuner mate because you have excellent signal strength.

Have you tried doing a manual scan to see if it finds channel at this moment.

im doing manual scan at the moment 25% and added nothing

Check The Scart cable, or the DVI, in the dream and the tv. I had the same problem the other day and was the mainboard, and a condenser in the Tunner. But in your case you have got very good signal

i was just wondering if tuner was faulty
and if it is would it still get good snr but not clear?

Try factory reset

is this a fixed dish or motorised, if motorised check that its actually on 28 east and not moved,also up date your satellite xml file and this will give you all the latest transponders http://satellites-xml.eu/

done factory reset
dish is on motor but set at 28.2 as i put a 500s
on it to check.
also stuck on lastest xml .

guys just a update.
i got a loan of an other tuner
and it works fine
i put my tuner into other 800 and it was faulty in there also.
