Trouble with Dreambox 500 HD cannot find cam and cam-config on the download menu

Hi everyone,
I have a dreambox 500HD original, and I was using a gemini 2 image with MGCAMD with a necamd file a a subscritpion to a server where I used to get Showtime/ART/Al Jazeera sports.... I live in Abu Dhabi, UAE... When the showtime stopped, I let go use of the dreambox... after a while, was told Al Jazeera is now ok on the server.... tried to connect again, but never got through... installed a new image GP e2 5.1 and something went wrong.... when I go to settings, plugins, download, server... I can not see CAM or CAM config.... completly lost.... got the MGCAMD 1.35 and installed via DCC 2.93 then uploaded my subscription newcamd file but can not get through....

Fed up, went and bought Al Jazeera sports card.... but not able to get it to work on the dreambo 500hd... completly lost and would appreciate any help.... :mecry::mecry::mecry:

dm500 HD & gp2 !!!!! DCC 2.93 !!!! i think u mean old dm500s that is enigma1 with GP2

Hi Guys,
Thank you for your help.... doing some more research I was able to figure it all out..
1. For using Al Jazeera sports card, I have dowloaded e2 SCAM 3.59 on my GP2 Gemini 5.1 for DM500HD and insterted the card with the chip facing down and it is working as I type...

2. I was not aware that the CAM and CAMCONIG are not available from the addons button anymore... I was able to find servers for e1 cams and cam config but not yet able to locate alternative servers for e2 CAM/CAMconfig for Gemini 5.1 with MGcamd 1.35 and DM500HD

If anyone is aware of alternative servers for cam download, please let me know...

search for the files below and install them on your Gemini 5.1 image:
gp-cam-mgcamd_1.35a-r3_mipsel.ipk
gp-conf-mgcamd_1.0-r0_mipsel.ipk
