I tried all images. But last days I stay with Dream Elite 4.0 (OE2.0) and think it is the best for me (very good picture, DDSubtitle player plugin runs, HbbTV plugin and web browser runs,TSmedia plugin runs.....

was happy with Newnigma2 - but openpli 2.1 now better for me because wifi works as does streaming, better downloadable plugins, network mounting works, and no more reboot/shutdown bugs.

Having previously recommended Newnigma2, I would no longer do so. I would strongly recommend openpli 2.1 over Newnigma2.

Possibly post 10 on here will work for you on DM800 with 84b but you may want to check with others if there is a more up to date version.

I'd be interested to see the results if the mods were to wipe the poll above and invite everyone to vote on a fresh poll. Obviously some images get better as they get more developed and as people's needs change so do their opinions.

Dreamelite is great image, to big for 800hd even for dm800se,to little MB on flash.You get crash installing one plugin.

After the reviews & others input, I'm looking at reflashing my 800se it's running openAAF at the minute, a image i do not recommend,
And don't like, is reason I want it changed
Looks like its a choice between newnigma or openpli unless there's any better out there
Besides the obvious, I wanted ts media installed or do any of these images have it already ? Can anyone fill me in any further on the pros & cons.

These seem to have more votes than any other image, can anyone say if they have used all these images, and give there opinion ?

Used them all but these days always end up with OpenPLI .

The DE image is so big you end up needing flash expander to make it useful.

Newnigma is good but a pain to get all the IPTV plugins running.
