Any ideas guys? Ive bit the bullet and ordered one of these v+ duo's and was looking at buying a HDD to go with it.

Yes any regular 3.5 inch sata will work with the VU.

As speed is not that important i tend to go for 5400rpm models as they are quieter.

Same here I have the 1 TB sami. Mate of mine has a 1.5tb bought at the same time and his is giving him recording problems. Image is pixalating randomly. Need to confirm it's the HDD though.
