remove vix image

hi , im pretty new to the vu duo and have installed the newest vix image .usb and the bootloader.

ive tried to factory reset etc and flash other image through usb or through serial ..



cant get rid of it ..br great if someone could help thanks:thum:

There is no reason for that mate.

Flashing via usb will wipe out the previous image.

Format your USB stick again and transfer the new image you like to flash.

Keep a eye on the Duos display you should see it report reading then programming if you dont see that then there is a problem with the usb stick or the files on it.

atlantic bird 7 on 7.3 west

Hi Ferret,

I just wanted to ask how to install the new satellite "atlantic bird 7.3W" in the list of satellite in the VU+Duo. As I have installed the new LNB (Black Ultra) in the 1.2 chanel master dish. I had to add manually the new transponders into the existing nilesat 7.0 West which means i have to do a manual scan of channels for each transponder.

What i do is create a new satellite.xml with the new position here

http://satellites-xml.eu/

Transfer it to etc/tuxbox reboot and scan the new sat.
