have you selected advanced in the tunner config, LNB 1, DisCEqC mode 1.2, use usals for this yes or no, if no stored position number 001, press ok it will bring you back to tunner config. press ok again change satellite to the next one you want to view scroll down save as stored position 002 press ok and repeat this procedure for all the sats you want to view.

is your receiver a clone or an original, i would do a factory reset then set your tunner up again, you must set your tunner up first like explained above with all the sats that you want to view, once you have done that go to satfinder and see if you get a lock on anything

Hi mate

If you have a usuals motor then this is the easiest way of getting it going.

Menu-setup-service searching-tuner config

Highlight tuner and press OK

Config Mode=simple
Mode =Positioner

The enter your coordinates.Reboot

Thats all you need mate.

On my clone, with a long cable, theres no chance of moving the motor whatsoever, the tuner or the power supply is just not strong enough on clones, I just use a different receiver and pass through. Your clone may be better though.

How long is your cable run?

If your cable is old or poor quality there will be so much loss you can expect problem. Use Ct100 or if it is a run over 20 meters use ct125. I use ct 125 at 18 meters and have no motor moveing issues with my stabb mount. Sometimes a LNB with a lower power consumption will also help.

motor issue

Hi all
I have had dreambox since DM7000 blue screen so no excuse for my mental block....BUT...
On my clone DM800 I have just been looking at one satellite, however decided last night to start moving dish again. I have 1 metre dish and Usals motor, I have DM800 set as simple / Positioner with correct long and lat...I have scanned in 13e but when I use satfinder or try to scan another sat dish doesnt move, however if i go outside and push buttons on dish it moves no problem manually. Motor is about a year old, cable 18 metres and expensive foam filled stuff.
what have I forgot/doing wrong please?
thanks

Hi mate

In your case maybe use the advanced setting but still with usuals, turn on the LNB for all the orbital slots but also use the increased voltage option. This may help.
