problem with 15.8 e

i have a dm500hd and have re-flashed with pli 1.0 ive loaded channel list from cateyes and epg data ,am setting sat lnbs up for each sat . ive done most of them but cant get 15.8 channels they wont change from grey to white . and get msg to check tuner config.
i go to menu/set up/service searching/tuner config/ choose tuner/ then i set satellite and lnb1 ( as ive motorised system) then press ok and am asked if i want to zap back to service before so i select yes and exit back to channel but get the message again to check tuner config . can somebody help me ive set all other sats same way and all those are ok . i know im on 15.8e as ive put some freqs in satfinder and they all get a "lock" thanks

FTP into your box and look at the settings file at /etc/enigma2

Open it and look at the setting stored values you will have

config.Nims.0.advanced.sat.160.rotorposition=12
config.Nims.0.advanced.sat.160.usals=false
config.Nims.0.advanced.sat.160.lnb=1

But not 158

Simply add the lines

config.Nims.0.advanced.sat.158.rotorposition=12
config.Nims.0.advanced.sat.158.usals=false
config.Nims.0.advanced.sat.158.lnb=1

This happen because the image your using does not have the 15.8 position as catseyes setting may have. You could check the satellite.xml at /etc/tuxbox/ to see if that includes the 15.8 position.

If your using usuals the above values may not be there let us know and we will think again.

thanks sorted now , it was dreambox edit not sending everything over , i sent same file again and this time it took slightly longer to send channels and i could see them automatically scrolling as they were loaded into box , on the screen of db edit. thanks for your help
