pls help with deleting channels

hi, i have vti img, i use dreambox edit to delete chanels that i dont want, adult channels, then reload them back to vu+ duo, check again and the channels are still there, even though
that the transfer is done, ??? is it cause of back ground scanning or what, how can i disable back
ground scanning, pls help i really need to delete those channels.

Hi mate

When you have deleted the channels make sure you save the settings and then close DBE, restart it then check the channels have gone. Transfer them over and check.

If they do come back i guess its possible its rescanning but i doubt it.

hi, i did restart DBE and to make sure the transfer is done
i add one channel to one the favorite list, and when i make
the transfer that channel is there in the box, but also the
channels that i have delete are still there, and to make sure
i deleted all of hotbird satellite and all of its channels,
then i uploaded the channel list i have saved before in DBE
those channels are not there, but after a min or 2 they all
appear again?!!

All i can think of mate is that DBE is not using the kill all command correctly so your old setting are not over wrote.

Try sending them over with another setting editor like Dreamset.

Also if you delete the a couple of channel on the VU remote and reboot do they come back?

VTI img does not allow deleting channels using the remot,
Any how i did a factory reset, then uploaded the channels
again, and all seem fine now
