why does it take this image for ages to boot up?? just loaded latest Dream-Elite-4.0-v001r003-dm800 OE1.6-ramiMAHER #ssl84b from download section and its still booting after five mins... on my dm800hd bootloader 84b, i mean the old dreamelite 133 phoenix edition boots up in no time, you would think newer images would be quicker surley to boot up.. does this mean everytime u get a green screen u have to wait ages for this image to boot up again for thats a pain,, think ill go back to the old image again lol

Not tried it mate, i gues you could try reflashing it if your having the same issues go back to what you know.

Are the green screens after something you have installed ? If so those plugins maybe the cause and not the image.

notification on image

does any one else seen in advance settings for rotor, that it doesn't keep the settings after reboot, It stays to the latest satellite you had entered, and you have to set it up again until the next reboot. And i tried glass skin, it crashed on reboot!!!

It stores any diseqc positions in the file named settings at /etc/enigma2

Usually a soft reboot from the shutdown meun will force enigma to store any setting you have made, if you shut down any other way you may loose the settings you have made.

What i did was a softly reboot as you said required when i chosed to use another skin. But even in the very begining ater flash that guides to setup, i put manually my 12 sats but afer restoring the settings from another image i must admit 1.6, the settings were gone and i had to put it once again

If you used the software manager to restore the setting there may be some compatibility problem between images, also if your going from oe1.6 to 2.0 or 2.0 to 1.6 this will throw up issues.

I noticed that after instaling the image, there is no left space on the root, i guess thats why it crashed on my attempt to get hdglass. How can i get through this space limitation

You could also use DCC to remove some of the plugins you do not use.

NTFS support

Hello all,
I would appreciate if you provided any guide on how I could install the required packages for this image, in order to support ntfs in rw mode (ntfs-3g?).
It's the only feature I am missing from this image.

Thanks in advance
