Hello

I purchased as original a Dm800hse and put nemesis on it.

I may not need the timeshift feature and may want to disable it.

If possible map yellow button for something else

Can you anyone tell me how ?

I have a 120gb hdd in it, which is partitioned.

I want to to turn swap on, but to point it to a specific partition. The configuration setting is the name of hdd in general, there is not possible there to specify this partition.

thanks in advance

The easiest way would probably be to install MultiQuickbutton. It allows you to set actions for long & short button presses for many buttons, including the yellow one...

You can edit the /etc/fstab file to point to specific partitions for swap, etc... Adding something like:

/dev/sda1 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/sda2 /media/hdd ext3 defaults 0 0

I encountered the same behavior (crash) when attempting to adjust the timeshift path on gjstroom's last Nemesis-84a. I don't know if the same problem is in the unpatched image on non-clone 800.

The multiquick button on the EDG Nemisis images takes off the blue panel button, well it remaps it and its not for the faint hearted to restore it .

... Then install Quickbutton (nemesis patch) from nemesis' software mangement, not tspanel or any other source. It's patched to leave the blue button alone...

Edit: Nevermind, Quickbutton only effects long button presses, it wouldn't change short yellow / pause.

Just don't activate it. I wouldn't think Nemesis ships with autotimeshift or permanenttimeshift installed so it will not timeshift unless you press the yellow/pause button. If it really bothers you for some reason, look into editing the /usr/share/keymap.xml file...
