My box remains stuck

After the installation of 'RTI_Core_1.3' my receiver always remains stuck on '=s' (Loading enigma2). In order to get the ip on the receiver, I've placed the file 'patch.bin' on a usb stick, but when the receiver boots up; the image 'RTI' writes a folder 'usr' on the usb stick -- making it impossible for the receiver to start from the 'patch.bin'. What to do? Many thanks.

You have flashed the wrong image for your box, have you tried to flash the correct image ?
Can you connect via hyperterminal ?

RTI_Core_1.3 is only for AzBox HD reciever.

What is an 'hyperterminal'? I've tried 'putty' (telnet), but do not know what commandos to give to the receiver.

i got the same problem with this image . Eternal Boot .

i was upping with juzup when it stucked @25% !

have been almost everywhere in the web for 3 days , buyed and installed a USB to TTL cable , tried hyperterminal , but nothing ..

is there a combination of pressing hardware keys while booting in order to force the device resetting itself / reading the usb ?

any advice would be greatly appreciated .

1) Kill it at the back. Leave it for a while, unplugged.

2) Plug it back in, then switch it on, at the back and press the > button on the front panel of AZbox HD immediately and hold it!

2a) Do not let go until you see IP address on VFD of your AZ HD!

3) Follow my E2 guide for PB Image from this point on and enjoy...
