installing drivers

im getting tune failed on some channels and its a new list ive d/loaded so was wondering if installing latest driver would help . how do i check which drivers are already installed and how do you install the latest ones ?ive never installed any drivers and am running open pli 1 . thanks

Not sure the tune failed has anything to do with driver mate, incorrect alignment the channel moved or incompatible switch if fitted are the usually culprits. Check also the channel details to see if there correct.

One other thing to note the 500 keeps the main channel list upto date with background scanning but it can not update the channels in you favorite user bouquets, so try the same channel by pressing the bouquets button then green button and find the channel from the services folder. If it work just re add it to you bouquets.

Now if you would like to update your driver simply FTP the driver in ipk format to the tmp folder at the root of your image them use your images addons manager or telnet to do a manual install.
