hi ferret or anyone who can help i change my image from ur-image of 20/1/10 to TGS220 nabilosat darkstar II DM7000 but did not find the software helpful so i decided to return to the ur-image but after upgrade completes stb wont flash and displays firmware failure, then reboots back to the nabilosat darkmanII image. can anyone tell me what's going wrong. thanks i have tried three times but the same results.

But im not sure of the source for the TGS image.
My advice is to first flash a Technomate Original Image

Flash this with TCC and a Null modem cable. If that work then flash your chosen UR image.

1 Down load the original image.
And flash that image to your TM like this
2. Open TM control center .
3. Start TMCC with the TechnomateCenter.exe
4. Click on the serial tab.
5. Top option set the comport to the one you have your null modem cable connected to usually com1.
6. Now click the file button and select the unrared image you downloaded earlier.
7. Now in front of your TV switch the power OFF on your TM.
8. Press in and hold the UP ^ button and then turn the power back on youll see a setup screen in front of you.
9. Press the up button for serial update then the right > button and then the ok button. This will start the image upload. Wait till it confirms the process is done.
10. Now turn off the power leave it for a min and then turn it back on.
At this point it will go through the standard setup procedure if you need help give us a shout.

After thinking about this id say by flashing the TSG image you have converted it into one. Hence the header error.
Not sure how you get back from that.
You could try doing a factory reset on the TM before trying to flash with a TM original image.

Pleased it was something simple mate. Had me worried for a while.
General rule of thumb is never flash unofficial images to the flash of your TM unless they specifically state they have been modified to work with the TM
