how to install skin with .RAR

please tell-me how to install a skin that end with .rar! on Gemini 4.5

I tried Barry Allan tools,and I can see it in the Multi boot directory!
however it can not be activated and its not in the skin selector,
I've gone so many ways till I crashed the dreambox 800,and I had to extract other image from the stored one in the /MB images.

Manually installing skins is not for the faint hearted.

Have you unrared the skin to see what is inside. Is it a cascade of folders or a single file?

If it is a single file what is the extension?

Also what is the name of the skin?

Hi mate,
yes, I did unrared normally,and its normal Gemini skin content,and the name is essential72,rar and the same end with .gz (ipk file)
Its working fine on Gemini 4.5 and i used the regular way (ipk file in tmp).
However, I had used BA tools before with Napoli.12 and it worked,
with zip,tar.bz2,tar.gz...kits..etc, did anybody used it with Gemini! this what I like know?

Hi mates,

thanks for the replies.
I am concerned about BA wizard for tools,,,there is one item for installing rar and zip...etc.
how is it working?

And what you mean by 755 and how to do it?

755 is the permission set to a file. To apply this in a ftp program select the file then right click it and select chmod you will then see the option to set permissions to 755.

Hi, just send it to tmp>go via blue panel to file manager en search for tmp folder there jou can see what jou have put in there, click on it> now just click green button for install the rar file.
