how to check if mgcamd is running?

hi all
i have a dm800 hd with dream elite 2.1 and MGcamd 1.8
i am very use to using cccam but have never used mgcamd so need help
i am not going to use this as a server only as a client
how do i check to see if mgcamd is running
if a use tenet and type MGcamd 1.8 -d
it says -sh MGcamd not found
what do i do next to correct this?

this is not a cccam use option -d or other..ever build is different.u must understand...if you have a blue car..not means all other universe has blue car....

use
ps ax on telnet..

if i run ps ax it tell me it is running in usr/bin/cam/mgcamd_1.8
si it is runnig so what is missing because it cannot see my card in its slot?

MGcamd can´t read cards!

for that you need oscam or newcs!

to clear your pic from your card you need combo newcs/MGcamd or Oscam/MGcamd!
