homeplug set up?

hi,
i am trying to set up a dreambox800, using homeplugs,
can someone please help me?
i have connected one homeplug to modem, and the other to dm800,
will not connect, do i have to config anything in the dm800, do i have to set ip,s our should it connect it self?

It is a router you connecting the homeplugs to.

These are usually plug n play. Power down all the kit your using them on router and dreambox.

Connect 1 to your 800 and plug it in one to a port on your router and plug it in. Then power on all your kit and that should be it.

Don't use homeplugs on surge protected kit.

but tryed all that, does not connect? tryed changing cables from home plugs, with no luck?
i thought i might have to set somthing on my dreambox?

shouldnt have to do anything, as long as the lights all light up, should be ok.
can you possibly try a direct cable from the router, to make sure it works?

As long as the dreambox network is set to dhcp then you should be fine.

If you house has surge protection that could cause a network connection problem.
