HELP WITH TM600 IMAGE

I uploaded an UR image to the box using USB pendrive. After playing around with it for a couple of days, I accidently discovered the Blue hotkey and managed to get the box working. However, the picture often froze up when I changed the channels. I even managed to ftp the box using Flashxp and changed the password on the box using Technomate Control centre
I read an article in the forum where somebody said that a Nabilo image would be more stable. So I downloaded one onto my USB and uploaded to my TM600. I succeeded to tune the satellites channel in, but now I realised that the Nabilo image does not have any built-in CAM or NEWCS,so no card could be read. And the worst thing is the box now does not detect the USB drive, and I can't use the FlashXP and Technomate Control Centre. It simply would not connect to the box
Any clues on how to put the UR image back on would be greatly appreciated !

The Nabilo image is just a ported Dreambox image and as such will not have features like USB etc.

You can download cam etc by pressing the Yellow button twice.

However i advice you to go back to this UR image later versions have a bug.

Use this version as it is very stable

I also dont advice flashing Via USB either this method can cause problem and is not reliable so use this method with a null modem cable.

Down load the image.

And flash that image to your TM like this

2. Open TM control center .

3. Start TMCC with the TechnomateCenter.exe

4. Click on the serial tab.

5. Top option set the comport to the one you have your null modem cable connected to usually com1.

6. Now click the file button and select the unrared image you downloaded earlier.

7. Now in front of your TV switch the power OFF on your TM.

8. Press in and hold the UP ^ button and then turn the power back on youll see a setup screen in front of you.

9. Press the up button for serial update then the right > button and then the ok button. This will start the image upload. Wait till it confirms the process is done.

10. Now turn off the power leave it for a min and then turn it back on.

At this point it will go through the standard setup procedure if you need help give us a shout.

Help with image reflashing on TM600

Thanks for your help. Now the box freezes on the UR Logo on reboot and won't go any further. Any idea ? Thanks !

By using the ^ arrow button as before on powering up, and did a factory reset, it is now working. Many thanks. I still have a lot to learn yet,ie. how to load cccam and newcs, please refer me to the correct section

Ferret - You strongly recommend staying on TM600-UR-10-14-2009.rar as new one has a bug?
