Help with my dreambox 500s

I just got my new dreambox today and went through some threads and decided to flash my box so i could get the scrambled channels.Afterwards, i uploaded nabilo darkstar 2 but my box has stopped working all together, it's not displaying anything when turned on and it's just a steady green light showing, even the remote is not able to turn it on or off,please HELP.

sorry i don't understand the technical jargon.
I am using dream up to flash my box but is it normal that after it uploads the image to the box, to perform a flash-erase?

Youll need a null modem cable as your 500s not booting by the sound of it.

Turn off Dreambox.
Connect PC to Dreambox with null modem cable.
Open DreamUP "Connect" .
Turn on Dreambox.
"Flash"
If rebooting Dreambox,push button UP on the panel of Dreambox.

I am using a null modem cable so i don't know why it's not booting.

Once it's finished uploading the image(nabilo darkstar 2 ), it erases the flash instantly and flashes from memory and then says flash copy succeeded. what next?

pls help my dm500s,before i make a jtag almost 5 days ago and it was successfully done and working fine,now only this afrenoon my box was bomb again in short i make a jtag same procedure ive done before...now the problem is when i press connect it says ********cpu seems to be ok xxxxMemory checkxxxx
Flash Memory IDs do not match! (should be 0x89 and 0x17..pls help.. thankss in advance

DM518s Help

I recently purchased a DM518s and after following some instructions on how to flash the image it is now dead....so after reading your post I tried to Universal Dreamup and serial cable but tells that is unable to open the port and now aborting,
is there anyway (possible) to access the box to set an IP address or how to access with serial null cable.

Appreciate your help in advance
