Flashing DM?

While flashing Dreambox with dreamup i am not able to select the image which is in NFI format,i cannot use flash wizard for some reason.How can i select NFI format using dreamup.thanks.

you need to flash an image with ext .img for dreamup or img and fw2 for flashwizard.

Sorry, how to flash an image with ext .img for dreamup.as i have an image file of pli jad in NFI.

nfi is wrong format for 500, you have downloaded a wrong image unless you have a DM500+

download the image again in img format for 500 and flash with dreamup.

Problem solved selecting the right image.
but another problem i am facing now is my DM's IP address is changing continuously ticking DHCP.that's why i am not able to connect my DM with my notebook.how to know my exact DM IP.

the ip will change every time you reboot the dreambox if you have the DHCP boxed ticked, untick it then put that ip in DCC and it should connect.
