Enigma 2 for ipBox 9000 ?

Have any body some news about the Enigma 2 for the ipBox 9000HD.
On some other boards you can see some pics. But hard to tell if they are fakes,with a photoshop everthing is possible!
So I hope some of you have news!!!
Well the pics that are on a few places are pictures of ENIGMA1, ( web interface the photo that really lets you see its enigma1 ) so probably a good attempt at gimp or photoshop to trick some,
the ip900 i think will have enigma1 long before 9000 has enigma2.
Enigma2 is not covered by GPL and part of code is under dream,, so dont hold your breath for some time..

I don't care which platform they base the firmware on, as long as we have everything working fast and stable. And as long as they make it possible for developers to build addons for it.
Bringing enigma2 to ipbox9000 doesn't mean it is all gonna be lovely jubbly.
For starters it would only bring nice looking OSD.
Although I assume it would be easier for developers to cross compile their work they already do for dreambox and make it avilable for sh4 receivers. But whether they'll be willing to remains to be seen.

It is just that some dreambox owners have had good experience with enigma platform and now expect it to work on ipbox too and work as good.
You don't have to concern yourself with that. Just hope that dgs/abcom keep up releasing new images, fixing bugs and improve things.
The box is getting better and better!And we know that the peopels from ABCom ARE working on an Enigma.
So wait and see, I am happy with what I have!
I'm wanting enigma1 image for the IP 900HD, once that is out and working with cams i'll buy a 900hd, i'll then be able to use wingrab zapit to stream tv to a .ts file on my pc, schedule recordings from pc and many other things but until that day comes i'll have to stick with my dreambox 600c which cant do HD
I know someone who will gladly port enigma 1 to the ipbox 900hd but he needs the source code to be able to do it and no-one seems to have it though.

Got to agree with above, long time Linux dreambox/ itgate user, recently purchased 9000 at start and now also 900.
Enigma 2 is not the be all and end all yeah porting is possible, but that still leaves driver issues now and in the future. From a really poor start developers at DG have made great progress with software and would rather see this continue. if i wanted enigma 2 would have stuck with my 7025 or went with 8000. to many ties with enigma 2 to dream.
