dream8000 optional tuner

hi all , i put new dvbs2 on optional slot no.4 in my dremabox8000 (bcm4505) and the dreambox didn't get him. i try also to put on slot3 and get the same problem. i'm working with gemini. it will help to put the original image of dreambox and than again to install gemini or maybe there is any settings ?

If your tuner is ok, with every image must see it.
I have alsoo dvb-c tuner and work ok.
Image is newnigma2 3.3.1.

Could be a fault with the tuner ive never had a tuner not recognized in my 8000.

As you say it is worth trying another image before condemning the tuner.

I installed another DVB-S2 Tuner in my 8000 (original)and there was absolutely no problem. Make sure that you have installed ok.
