Dm800hd tuner configuration

hi guys!
i have just bought my dm800 and im trying to get it running!
i have the nabilo blackhole image in and now trying service searching but all is very different compared to my dm500! it seems i get no signal or not good enough 35-45% it some times locks sometimes doesnt! i know my dish is perfectly alligned as i get over 92% on my dm500 on both hotbird and astra why is this happening on my dm800? and what is all that under tuner configuration? theres voltage, amplitude, polaritys, fec... what do i choose for the best configuration?? im so confused here...

i have tried that too! they have lists for preferred satelites on nabilo i installed both hotbird and astra but still it doesnt seem to change anything! i do a manual search i get about 350 services in total! i have a fealing that theres something wrong with my tuner...
has anyone before encounted anything like this?

i have exactly the same feeling when i started with my dm800 few years back. i thought all the while my alignment with dm500 was perfect but i got it wrong mate. first thing first, are you using a motor? if you are, you have to realign your dish i'm afraid mate as dm800 are very tricky!!! it has to be right on the spot!!! start by tuning it on bbc world on 0.8W. maximise it from there and turn it on 28.2E. fiddle a bit in there and try to maximise it in there too!! then lastly, turn it on 30W and fiddle a bit in there too!!! once you are happy with the signal strength, tighten up your bolts mate and you'll be fine!!

Hello

Do you have your 800 set to use usuals or are you manually searing the Sat's?

What motor config do you have.
