Dm800Hd Pvr-Can't Update

Hi All Experts,
I have a Dm800Hd with image Dream Elite Blackhole. Sometime ago, I when to do some update in “Setup>Software management>Advanced Options> Packet management, after updated some files, in one of the files when I depressed the “ok” button. It suddenly when off and I think it restarted and the message “ERROR : NO CA FOUND” appear on LCD. I found this repair software” NCF SIM2 v2.1”, and got it repaired. But from then on I discovered it could not retrieve anything through internet. Doing a network test show everything is good, I got all passes for all tests.
Another problem I think I had done is going to the “Genuine Dreambox” plugin which may be another cause for not able to go into internet to update or download anything.

Sounds like your box is a clone and you tried to do an online update (which you should NOT)
You may need to refalsh your box with a correct patched image.
Once everything works, take a backup and keep it for later use when needed.

And remember the saying:
If it is not broken, don't fix it.

Hi BM300, thanks for your quick reply! But previously it is able to go internet to update and download plugins. Please help me repair it! Thanks very much!

Since you cannot use the network (for now) to load anything, I suggest using Dreamup and upload an image tht works or compatiable with your box.
If you have a copy of the Dream Elite Blackhole image, use it to solve the network problem.

This will take nearly an hour.

Once this solved, you can then either upload a more recent patched image or stay with the image that works.

On the network option on your image under adapter settings what the IP you have in there ?

In Network Setup, the IP Address is the address for the Dm.
Use Interface: yes
Use DHCP: yes

There appears to be nothing wrong !

When you say your box does not connect to the internet ! What exactly about the box is it that does not connect ? Download server , emu problem or other ?

It seems so, but I just can’t download anything from “Addons Manager” to download plugins, skins or anything else and most importantly is cams. A message box will appear saying,”Sorry, Connection Failed.” Please Help! Thanks very much!

Hi Rizwanawan, Thanks for the reply! Did you mean if I am able to watch the encrypted channels? If I am right, the answer is “NO”, because I am not able to go online to download Mgcamd. Please Help! Thanks very much!
