Dm800hd estar tuner failed!

Hi guys!
I have a DM800hd estar.But I have problem with my tuner.It is recognized by the receiver but does not show any channel.
Any suggestion how to resolve this problem.Should I buy a new tuner or I only need to change the image?

First thing would be to make sure the your fault is not elsewhere. LNB fault, dish alignment.

As you know, with that box you need to use it`s own programs and images... Have you do that ??

yep i know about firmware.
I have and other receivers so the lnb is not the problem.
I thought that the power supply had the problem.I change it too but no go.
I must say that if I connect the cable of the lnb the snr goes 14-15 and ber=0 but no channels is open.
Any other suggestion?

If images are not patched correctly it can cause the tuner not to show up.

There not that many patched image for estar on SU but have you tried one ?

I send the receiver for service.
they call me and said that the problem was with some capacitors.tomorrow I will have the receiver back.
I will write again for any new info about the problem

ok guys everything is ok now.
I repaired the receive. The problems where at the capacitors of the power supply and of the receiver.
Now any good image would be appreciated.

With estar you can download any original software and patch it their converter. My preference is Dream Elite.

Use the estar convertor and try it, your risk though never had a estar stb.
