DM800 Multiboot Images

Is it possible when installing a Multiboot Image to automatically include the basic settings from the Flash Image such as Motor Positions etc as is the case with FlashWizard PRO in Enigma 1?

meoboot, but i'm pretty sure it can be done in barryallen aswell, but i use meoboot now much more user friendly.

You can do this in Meoboot and i think BA also although i forget how with BA not in front of mine to look.

Flashwizard Pro does not work with Enigma2.

Hi satfoot,

I also use MeoBoot.
If your settings are not copied (with MeoBoot or Barry Allen) then there's also an option to save your settings manualy.

Run your flash image.
Then press menu button.
Select setup, press OK.
Select software Management, press OK
Select Backup System Settings, press OK

Your setings will be copied to /media/hdd/backup
The name for the file is enigma2settingsbackup.tar.gz

Start the multiboot Image:
press menu button
Select setup, press OK.
Select software Management, press OK
Select Restore System Settings, press OK

If settings are not restored just do a manual install of the file enigma2settingsbackup.tar.gz

Just found out how it's done on Barry Allen:-
Wizard for Setup>OK
Goto Line3:-bapostinst, sharing and copy options>OK
Line1:-activate bapostinst template>OK>OK

What image do you use in Flash?
If the flash-image has OE 1.5 you cannot use an image with OE 1.6 in multiboot.
If the flash-image has OE 1.6 you cannot use an image with OE 1.5 in multiboot.

Hi, I am using gemini 5.0 OE1.6 with DE1.3.3 in flash using meoboot.

I have tried to run a couple of NewNigma2 1.6 images but they hang,can anyone tell me which NewNigma2 1.6 will run in meoboot.
