DM600 IS NOT CONNECTION TO DCC

By mistake when I am trying to change password in telnet pressed two times with blank password and now dcc is not connecting to dm600. also no connect with dreamup.

need your help

Hi mate

As you have found out DCC needs a password to connect.

What you need to do now is use putty a stand alone Telnet app. This will allow you to change the pass and then you can use DCC again.

How to use!

Open Putty

Ensure Telnet port 23 is selected.

Enter your Ip address and click open.

At the Dreambox login type root and enter.

At the root@dreambox promt type passwd and enter.

Now enter a new password and enter.And then repeat

solved the problem by changing the serial port and dreamup is connecting.

You also said DCC not connecting And a password problem.

My instructions were for the DCC ethernet problem.

So you have decided to reflash ?

yes dear my problem was the password and dreamup is not connecting also. thanks for your great support all the time.
