DB500HD dead after a image flash

I am having trouble loading a new image to my DB500hd. I did load an image through the browser and that loaded fine but then the box stopped working. I tried loading a different image but could not load through the browser again.
Tried DreamUp but that does not work either - box will not go into http mode.
I do not know the IP address of the box so I tried to get the IP address by pressing the front button and then power-up the box but nothing comes up on the TV.

Any help appreciated

Is your box a clone ? if so it could be you flash a image not suitable for your sim type.

No - I cannot connect with the box with DreamUp. I also do not know the IP address of the box.

Yes - I think that is what I did.
I have flashed it before with a different image and it worked fine. I was trying something new that I should not have done. Any ideas what I can do to reverse the process.

Use optiflasher to install correct ssl you will need service cable and Ethernet cable.

Ok - I have the OptiFlasher Pro and both cables

If I do not know the IP address of the box, can I still use this optiflasher ?

Managed to get the Optiflasher to go this far after I found the IP address - see below

Power ON DB Device [ESC to Abort]
DM500HD Detected !
Dreambox Detected...Ok!
Sending Flash Loader...
Second Stage OK!
Boot Success & Ready For Network Web Interface!
Error: Socket Error # 10060
Connection timed out


Any idea what this message means.ERROR: Socket Error........

Get this after I try to do "Write Image/Restore Back-Up" in Optiflasher. Any ideaq why I am getting this message.

do n't use dream up use FerrariFiller_1_3_3_7FSE
with usb cable and the Ethernet in the same time must be connected then flash it with any image Done

Problem solved.
Downloaded this tool...

Dreambox NO CA FOUND Repair Tool NCF SIM2 v2.5

and ran it with my PC connected to the DB mini USB. Flashed the box with Sunray version of Dreamup and the box works fine now.
